A Grade II listed property on one of Kensington's most architecturally significant streets. The owners wanted to improve the thermal performance of their original Georgian windows without losing the single-pane sightlines that planning required.
Vacuum glazing was specified and submitted as part of a listed building consent application. RBKC approved the application on the basis that the vacuum unit matches the profile of the existing single glazing. FSC Accoya was specified for its dimensional stability - critical on listed buildings where exact profile replication is required and ongoing maintenance needs to be minimal.
