Bespoke double-hung timber sash windows for period and modern properties across London. Designed to last, specified to your property and planning requirements.
A timber sash window is a double-hung unit - two sashes that slide vertically within a box frame, counterbalanced by lead weights on cords running over brass pulleys. When well made and correctly maintained, they outlast almost every alternative.
We offer full replacement - new frame, linings, pulley stiles, sashes, glazing, ironmongery, and finish - made to the exact measurements taken at the site survey. Every window is specified individually.
External finishing and making good are included. We leave the opening clean and weather-tight.

A large part of our work is in London's conservation areas - particularly in Kensington, Chelsea, Notting Hill, and Westminster. We know what conservation officers require and specify accordingly.
For listed buildings, we specify single or vacuum glazing to satisfy Historic England and local authority requirements. Profile matching on all conservation work is carried out from detailed site measurements.
